Join Portland Dutch Society FOr King's Day! April 27th 2-5 PM New Location!
This afternoon is for everyone who loves The Netherlands. The goal is to have a fun time with the whole family.
What to expect:
- Welcome with coffee, punch and cookies
- Traditional Dutch games, such as sjoelen, zaklopen, spijkerpoepen and board games
- Fotographer who takes your picture against a Dutch scenery background
- Wooden shoe maker in action
- Vrijmarkt open for participation for everyone (as long as you take your leftovers home)
- Raffle of a sjoelbak, Dutch design silk flowers and a gift bag with Dutch products
- Free children's books
- Booths with delicious Dutch food (bitterballen, stroopwafels, herring, candy) en drinks
- Inside and outside seating
- Dutch music
At 3pm we toast to the king's birthday and at 4pm we do the raffle.
Price: $10 pp. Kids under 12 are free. Payment through Paypal or Venmo (sign up here and see form at bottom) in advance or cash/card at the door. Note with your payment: Kingsday 2025, name and how many tickets.

Portland Dutch Society has been active since 2012, with monthly events throughout the Portland Metro/Vancouver area, including borrels, Sinterklaas, and Koningsdag, as well as a number of other cultural events throughout the year.
